Bhagavad Gita Chat offers personalized spiritual reflection without turning private conversation into an advertising product. This policy describes the current web demonstration.

Information we process

The web chat creates a random browser session. The Android app uses your Google account identity for secure sign-in. We process your questions, optional personal context, generated responses, recent conversation history, and limited operational information needed to secure and maintain the service.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, provide conversations, retrieve relevant personal context, ground responses in the Bhagavad Gita corpus, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve answer quality.

Personalized memory

Conversation history and the context you enter are linked to your random browser session or signed-in Android account. Recalled context is treated as fallible personal information, never as scripture. Both clients provide controls to delete the associated conversation data.

Storage and sharing

Canonical sessions and conversations are stored on privately controlled Mac Mini hardware. The current question, selected recent context, and locally retrieved candidate verses are sent securely to our contracted AI processing provider to generate the answer. Cloudflare transports encrypted web and API traffic. We do not sell personal conversation data or use it for third-party advertising.

Retention and deletion

Conversation turns remain on the Mac Mini to provide continuity until you select “Delete my conversation,” delete your Android account in the app, or submit a request through our account-deletion page. Processing and retention by our contracted AI provider are governed by its commercial API privacy and retention terms.

Safety and children

The service provides spiritual study and reflection, not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency advice. The private beta is not intended for children under 13.
